Domestic Short Hair / Dilute Calico / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Nellie the Cat needs a home

I’m such a love bug!
Nellie is a beautiful dilute calico who was born around 7/15/2009.  She is homeless through no fault of her own, due to her owners illness and financial problems. She is a super sweet, friendly girl who is very affectionate. This makes it difficult to get a picture of Nellie because when you get close to her she flops on her back for a belly rub! She is doing great with all her new roommates in our cat house and loves to play with the kittens.  She is just so sweet, playful, and lovable! Nellie recently went into one of our amazing foster homes and is doing very well. Here is a note from her foster mom:

Foster Cat Nellie is working hard AND playing hard at starting her new life after she lost everything!  She has staked out several of the cat beds as her own & LOVES playing with the “Cat Dancer” toy, running up & down the hallway swatting at it! When she tires of that, she plops down in one of those beds, or comes to foster Mom for much wanted attention.  She reaches out for me if I should have the audacity to walk past her in said bed without stopping for a pet or 3!  She has met all the cats & the Chihuahuas here & is much more interested in the wee dogs!  She is waiting patiently to have a home of her own once again.  Can you open up your heart & home for this little love bug!?

A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
